Hey everyone! My eye's been irrtated lately, so that's why I haven't done any other type of EOTD, but I have done an EOTD last week. Sadly though, the colors got super washed out by the webcam, so BOO! But anywho, I was ecstatic that my NYX order came in just 2-3 days! Let me tell you, I was not disappointed! I'm going to focus more on the MAC and NYX products since some of the other purchases are for a swap, lol. I've been good with buying makeup. I haven't been to my MAC counter to check out the new HD collection and F/W Trend Collection that MAC came out with. So I've been saving (well, for something else, lol) - so aren't you all proud of me? XD



Let me talk about the two pencils you see in the image first. They are Jordana Color ETend eyeliners and I must say, they're pretty good. The black pencil (01 Black Out) actually reminds me of MAC's Feline Kohl Power pencil. Its a rich black pencil and smudges like a dream (great for smokey looks!) even though it smudges, it stays on pretty long. I definitely recommend anyone to get this pencil. I did my EOTD using this pencil too and it gave me a perfect the perfect winged eyeliner without tugging. The pink flesh-toned pencil is similar to Paula Dorf's Baby Eyes Enhancer pencil, just not a richly pigmented. This pencil is a little more subtle. I like it, its a real nice alternative.

The Lash Blast mascara is for Lane and the Physician's formula Baked E/S Trio is an extra for her as well, lol. So I guess this a sneak peak until I take all a whole snapshot for you with all your stuff Lane, lol. I'm sending out your package Monday!(:

Ok, now on to the main items. I went to see the Make Up Art Cosmetics collection a few weeks back, and I was planning on getting on of the quads. But when I looked at some of the colors, it seemed as I could find those colors already, so I skipped it. I didn't buy any of the pencils since I know I won't be using them. I've been good at not buying items just because they're limited edition. XD I also went back to get MAC's Mineralized Skinfinish in Triple Fusion. This MSF is worth it to me since you're getting three colors in one.

The only thing I have to say about this MSF is that the top strip with the beige-gold color is that its a bit chunky. There's quite some fall out and some chunky glitter. The other two colors are smooth enough. This MSF isn't as finely milled and smooth like my HG MSF Refined, but I can work with it.



I also purchased the Cocomotion pigment that came out with the Make Up Art Cosmetics Collection. I got this pigment because its a color that I would wear a lot. The color is an antique golden brown with a slight olive undertone I would say. Its very nice and would look nice on all skin tones.

Now on to my beloved items of the moment - NYX Runway Palettes! Now is it me, or is palette spelled "p-a-l-e-t-t-e" not "p-a-l-l-e-t"? Typo maybe? Anywho that's just my OCD kicking in. That's not the point, the point is - I ADORE THESE PALETTES. Now if I were to compare this with my 88 palettes, the 88 palette wouldn't even compare to these NYX palettes - even if it does have more color variation.

All of the Runway palettes have the same packaging, but that's ok because the boxes have the color swatches so you know which palette has what colors which is nice. KUDOS to NYX upgrading the packaging, because their older ones were a bit crappy if you ask me. I had a trio way back and the cover broke off after a few uses. These palettes are a bit more sturdy. These palettes are smaller than I thought they were, but that's okay, it makes it so much easier to put in my bag or take for travel. This palette below is called "Strike A Pose", and I purchased it because of the gold, green, purple and burgundy-red color. To my surprise, these colors are the prettiest out of the bunch!

The swatches on my fingers are to prove how pigmented they are with one swipe, but my phone cam, GRRR! I do hope you can see them better in the second swatch.

The second palette I got was the Romance palette. This palette is great for everyday neutral looks. There are two colors that remind me of MAC's Shale and Woodwinked, but don't quote me on that, I'm going to have to check first, lol.

Oh! I forgot to tell you that these NYX swatches are all swatched by its own. No bases what so ever. (:

I'm definitely going to purchase more of these palettes because they're smooth, silky and blends like a dream! Any one out there that has not tried out any of NYX's products, skip the trios and just go for these palettes. These have better formulation. Now on to my EOTD.

I'm real sorry that the colors are washed out. This look is actually more dramatic in reality - no lie. This is my soft smokey club look that I do on occasion. I'd usually use dolly lashes with these, but I don't have any on me.

I promimse to get a new camera soon - like on my birthday or something, lol. This is supposed to be Kim's look I promised Lane, but it wasn't dramatic enough so I may do another one.

I swear, having a slight hooded eye makes the makeup look less attractive, haha. I hope everyone had a great weekend and I'll see you all soon!
