Meet My New Found Love.

I've never been fond of using liquid foundation as I hate the feeling of it on my skin. I've always stuck to mineral foundation since its feels much lighter and doesn't look obvious. I don't recommend anyone using foundation at all unless you feel you really need it (i.e redness, blotchy-ness, acne scarring etc.) only because there really is no need to wear foundation if you have pretty decent skin. I'd recommend a tinted moisturizer or a powder foundation more than anything.

Anyway, I've tested quite a few foundations before and none of them worked for me. I've pretty much given up and went back to my Pur Minerals Pressed Foundation, but I saw this and wanted to give it a try. A few of you may have already read or watched reviews on this product already, but one more wouldn't hurt right? Its Maybelline's SuperStay 24-Hour Makeup.

I was looking for a new concealer as well, so I went ahead and got the SuperStay Concealer too. So I will be reviewing two products today. I'm going to start with the foundation, which is the main focus of this review.

Claims of this foundation:
- Withstands heat, sweat and humidity
- Zero Transfer: Won't Rub Off
- Flexible, breatheable, all-day comfort
- Oil free - non pore clogging
- Suitable for all skin types

Price Range: $8-10USD
Amount You Get: 30ML (1 FL. OZ.)

This foundation comes in a glass bottle with a twist cap and a spout - similar to Revlon Colorstay. The shade I got was Natural Tan, since my forehead and neck is slightly darker than my cheeks. It may look dark in the picture, but when you apply it onto your skin, its actually lighter. The consistency is not too thick or too thin - its in the middle. It spreads well and blends nicely into the skin. When I get ready for school, I like to mix this with my moisturizer to quickly even out my skin and I'm out the door in no time. This foundation did not make me look cakey and absorbs pretty fast. I feel that this foundation almost sets itself, meaning that there really isn't a need to use a powder. I used it alone before and I didn't find it sliding around. I was sweating real bad one day because it was so hot, and when I blotted my face with a tissue, nothing came off. I did a test by resting my face on my BF's shoulder (as I've always gotten some of my foundation on his shirts, lol) and nothing rubbed off. I was super happy. This foundation does not contain SPF, so there is no worry that you will get a cast if you take a picture. I have not broken out since using this foundation and I have acne/break-out prone skin. I do not feel like I have foundation on when I wear this also. This is my favorite foundation to date and a really good competitor to Revlon Colorstay foundation.

The only complaint I have is that there aren't many shades to choose from. So if you're really tan, super pale or in between shades, chances are you're not going to find one that matches you.

PRICE: $6.49USD
Amount You Get: 5.5 ML (.18 FL. OZ.)

Now on to the concealer. Again, not much color selection here as there are only four or five shades and the shade I got was Deep Beige, and honestly its not even dark. Its just slightly lighter than my foundation. Its in a similar packaging to the foundation and it has a doe foot applicator. Though, this is the only concealer I've used that doesn't crease for me. It has a light texture and sets really quick. I find that using a fluffy blending brush works better than using a concealer brush. It lasts all day and doesn't look cakey at all. I like this better than Maybelline's Mineral Power Concealer. If you have dry skin though, I'd recommend you apply a little moisturizer or eye cream as this can be a bit drying for you. Swatches of both the foundation and concealer below.

I'd recommend anyone to give these products a try since its pretty inexpensive, so if it doesn't work out for you, you don't have to worry about spending so much. I hope this review was helpful for some of you, and thanks for reading. ♥

LOL. Revlon Colorstay looks a bit cakey on me, even after I've tried blending the crap out of it. Though i used it years ago. Maybe they changed the formulation a bit, so maybe I might get to to do a comparison.

Haha, I used BB Cream too. I hated Missha's BB Cream, but I do adore Skinfood's Mushroom BB Cream so much. Pressed mineral makeup is so much better because you get less mess! You should try it! It might work better for you<3

A few Maybelline foundations broke me out too. So far, this is the only one that didn't break me out. I'm not sure if they will release this, but I hear its a re-release? I think its similar to another foundation, but I'll tell you on your blog.

Haha, if you do get a foundation, I totally recommend this! This is the only foundation I'll wear - at least for now anyway, lol.

I don't think its an international product yet? I'm not sure how Angelfit works, but there was another foundation with a similar name?
