Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette

Despite some negativity surrounding this collection (due to the recall of the eyeshadow palette),  when Champagne Pop was first released, literally everyone and their mother raved about it. Seriously, some people were losing sleep over this (LOL). Its hard to deny how beautiful and well thought out this palette is. I can see why it was so sought after.

Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette contains one Luminous Blush, two Mineral Blushes and two Shimmering Skin Perfector Powder. The packaging is beautiful - a white and gold casing that is different from their usual.

I like that this palette has some weight to it - it feels heavy duty. Inside you get a clear, plastic slip with the names of the shades - its also printed on the back of the palette. You get a nice big mirror which makes this convenient for traveling.

Rosé Spritz (soft peachy pink with pale gold shimmer)
Amaretto (matte toasted almond),
Pamplemousse (matte warm coral pink)
Champagne Pop (soft white gold with pinky peach undertones)
Prosecco Pop (medium warm gold)

No Flash - Left is a heavy swatch & right is a blend swatch.

With Flash - Left is a heavy swatch & right is a blend swatch.

I really like this palette because each shade is pigmented and I like that there's not much kick up with the powder. The texture is smooth but not overly soft and its nice and opaque. Again, all of the swatches are done with a brush. Right now, this palette is currently sold out at Sephora (when I checked online anyway). I think that the blushes are dupable you don't really need them. As for Champagne Pop - it really is a great highlighter. You only need the teeniest amount. You can always get the highlighter itself - Champagne Pop is only $32USD (both powder and creme) and the liquid version is $42USD.

If you can get a hold of this palette, I do recemmend it because all of the blushes and highlighters are consistent (texture, pigmentation) and beautiful. I have some items I will be reviewing soon if you want something similar to this palette or Champagne Pop but don't want to splurge, so keep an eye out for that.

Happy 4th of July weekend!
xoxo,
Hani
