EOTD, Daiso, Fuji San & Giveaways

I was out of town last weekend on a mini trip with the boys, so I decided to share a bit of it with you all. I went to San Jose to visit the Great Mall for some fun, shopping and food. I haven't been to SJ for a good few years, so mind you I'm a bit slow on these things, lol - anywho, to my surprise, I found a Daiso! Look!

We wanted to go to Dave & Buster's, but apparently there's a new rule that teens have to be accompanied with an adult at least 30yrs of age. Since we're all only in our early 20's they wouldn't allow my BF's bro inside. Boo! So instead, we decided to have sushi at the Fuji San.

Yummy, but a bit on the pricey side.

Nick's Chicken Teriyaki.

Tempura and Pete's Special Spicy Roll - delicious.

Tiger & Dragon Roll - our staple rolls, haha.

MY BF's "Million Dollar" roll - the best roll!

... We attacked everything in like half an hour, lol.

I've been lazy with make-up lately due to it being so hot and I've been sticking to the same look for a while. Its the double-liner look.

Milani Infinite Liner 04 Forever
MAC Blacktrack Fluidline
Shiseido TheMakeup Mascara Base
Wet N Wild Mega Length Mascara
Majolica Majorca Trick On BR751 (Champagne All Over Lid)

Three of my lovely friends are having a giveaway and you should really check these ladies out. Their blogs are a really nice read!

First we have Lelo, a phenomenal make-up artist based in Canada is giving away a Freedom Lipgloss from Revolution Organics to one lucky winner. Check her blog out, because these lipglosses look amazing!

Next is AtelierGal, who's giving away some interesting prizes including her famous talked about Elizabeth Arden White Glove Extreme Skin Brightening Capsules! I believe she's going to have multiple winners, so you might get lucky!

Lastly, is Gio, she's celebrating her 2nd year anniversary with a giveaway and it includes goodies from Vichy, Eyeko and Pupa! Check it out!

  1. Daiso in the US? Go stock up on the sponge-cleaner! Then I won't need to send you any LOL

I have been craving for sushi the entire night and your pictures just make me want more, though I have limited selections.

Thanks for announcing the giveaway. Closing date is 11th July =)

  2. The sushi looks so yummy! :D Love your EOTD, very pretty...

  3. Woah that roll certainly looks "million dollar" LOL

You do the double liner look so perfectly!

  4. What an amazing post! I LOVED it! I'm requesting for more of these! ;)
First of all, I'm jealous of Diaso. ;P
Second, I want some sushi right now!!
And third, your eye makeup is simply gorgeous!

  5. ur eyes look super pretty Dee! the food just made my mouth water too:)

  6. Oh my gosh that sucks that you couldn't go to Dave & Busters! Is it a new rule that teens must be accompanied by someone at least 30 years old? Because all the ones I've been to have always been 21+ not 30 =/ But then again, it's been a couple years since I've been to D&B

  7. i was just thinking of what to have for lunch while reading this post. i feel like eating some sushi now lol!

the eye makeup looks great! sorry there isn't a search option in ur blog, not sure if you've done a review on the shiseido mascara base but i'd love to know your thoughts on it!

  8. The eye makeup is stunning! I love the double liner, you did a great job.

And thanks for posting about my giveaway, it's very appreciated. :)

  9. @ AtelierGal:
Yup! I'll check out those sponge cleaners! There's aren't many sushi bars in S'pore?

    @ Dina:
    Thank you!

    @ Fifi:
LOL. I actually thought the roll would be bigger, but the taste made up for it, haha. Thanks!

    @ Kasia:
The Daiso is a bit small, but when I went in, I was likea kid in a candy store, lol. Thanks hun<3

    @ Blovet Beauty:
    Thank you Lane!

    @ Dana Yoshimizu:
Yup, its a new rule. Last time we went it was fine for someone in their 20's to bring in a teen, but it weird now. Some hosts let you in regardless of your age and some don't. It's stupid.

    @ Ee Von:
LOL!<3 Ahh, I knew I forgot to add a search bar. Nope, I haven't reviewed that mascara base yet, but I will this week!

    @ Gio:
Thanks dear and you're welcome! =D

  10. OMG DAISO! It's one of my fave haunts back home, god how I miss it *_* Did you get anything from Daiso lol? Looks like you had an amazing time with your friends and japanese food, albeit on the pricey side = love.

  11. in my country, we have two competing japanese stores, Japan Home Center and Saizen. Saizen sells stuff from Daiso, but I havent visited the store because its quite far from my place.

hey dee, thanks for the sweet comment =)
