Current Loves No.1

Hello, my darlings! Since the last post was a spotlight post, I figured it would be good to follow that up with my current favorites. Not a lot, but these are products that I use on the daily. Hope you all have a great week, enjoy!

From Top Left:

NYX proofit! Waterproof Eyebrow Primer - I'm a brow girl. I have everything from powders, gels, pencils - you name it. The one thing I do before heading out the door is my brows because even if you have no makeup on, if your brows are done (even just a little bit) you still somewhat put together.

Wet n' Wild Ultimate Brow Mascara - About half the price of the L'Oreal brow gel, about a fourth of the price of Anastasia Brow Gel - works just as good. Holds all my brow hairs in place while adding a hint of color.

NYX Eyebrow Gel - This product has been compared to MUFE (Make Up Forever) and yes, its a pretty good dupe. Good shade range, pigmented so less is more, stays on all day and is water resistant (even though it says its waterproof, its not - at least for me anyway).

Tarte Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Powder - My all time favorite translucent powder. Unlike, the ELF and MUFE versions where its extremely smooth and soft in texture, this one feels a bit harder to the touch. Works great for setting and oil control.

Skin Food Lime Secret Shine Base - If you're looking for that high shine, dramatic highlight - this is for you. mix a little with your foundation for a soft dewy glow, or apply on cheek bones for a nice concentrated shine that blinds people - LOL. Its a nice

From Left

Shea Moisture Problem Skin Moisturizer - My all time favorite moisturizer was Ole Henriksen's Sheer Transformation. But since using this, I have converted. I have combination skin and during the spring/summer season, my skin gets pretty oily - especially my cheek area. This works so well to combat the oiliness.

Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Melting Cleanser - If you enjoy using oil cleansers, I definitely suggest you try this out. This is basically that in gel form - so its less messy, more convenient and easier to use. A little goes a long way, it spreads easily and removes makeup (even waterproof) like a breeze. Same concept like an oil cleanser - apply and massaging the product around to break down the makeup then add water to turn it into a milky consistency further cleansing your face and rinse off.

Boscia Tsubaki Oil-Infused Exfoliating Powder - I got this one on a whim while at Sephora (it was one of the point perks at the time). I didn't think I'd like this at all - but its wonderful. It leaves my skin smooth, soft and bright after use. Its gentle and didn't leave my skin irritated one bit. Recommend for those with sensitive skin.

Shea Moisture Problem Skin Facial Wash & Scrub - This was also in the kit with the moisturizer. I was pleasantly surprised with how gentle the scrubbing particles were. Because it's not abrasive, those with sensitive skin would like this. It leaves my skin feeling clean, soft and smooth.

O'Keefe's Working Hands - This hand cream - despite its packaging, is one of THE BEST that I have used. EVER. I have extremely dry hands. Because of my job and lifting weights at the gym without gloves, my hands go through quite a beating. If you have dry hands, dry cuticles and bad calluses - give this a try.

  1. If you say that hand cream is good, then it must be good! Do you think it is sold on iherb?

    1. Yes it is! It goes for 6.49USD - which I think is about 8.72SGD? Pretty affordable and you don't need much. I even apply it on my elbows and knees :)
