Wet N' Wild Color Icon in Vanity

It sucks to have no money when new collections are constantly appearing. Having bills really is a big pain. Sad isn't it? Anyway, school is over and now I'm starting to catch a cold. What a great way to start my summer vacation right? I've had this palette for about a month and have finally gotten to playing around with it.

BRAND: Wet N' Wild
PRODUCT: Color Icon Palette
SHADE: Vanity
PRICE: 5.49USD (at Walgreens)
PROS: Soft, Smooth, Pigmented, Can Wear Without A Base
CONS: Can Fade Slightly (end of the day w/o a base), Fall Out, Packaging
Would I Recommend? Yes

As you can see, there are three matte shades and three shimmer (effect) shades. You can create an all matte look, all shimmer look or mix the textures for another look.

Swatches were swatched using a q-tip, on its own and over three bases, in different lighting. Click on the image to view swatches in full.

Very pigmented colors within one swipe. These colors are really smooth and very soft. Since they're soft, they're a bit on the crumbly side, but fall out isn't horrible. My favorite color out of the bunch has to be the shimmery golden shade. The matte medium brown reminds me of MAC's Cork, but I don't own Cork so I can't compare it for you. Here's a soft EOTD I did using most of the colors. I used the matte medium brown, the shimmery gold, the shimmery bronze, the matte cream and shimmery highlight. Excuse the bags, too much stress = no sleep, haha. Hope you enjoy!

ON EYES:
MAC Paintpot in Soft Ochre
WnW Color Icon in Vanity
ELF Treat & Tame in Dark
Lavshuca Light Mix Eyes in GN-1
WnW Mega Length in Black (light coat)

DEAR FTC: Everything was purchased with my own money.

Everyone's been raving over the Wet N Wild quads. Packaging's plain but the colors are gorgeous! Why didn't you get the purple one?

  6. Okay, seriously, I think you can work out ANY type of shadows! I thought the eyeshadows wouldn't look as pigmented on the eyes but look at that! Gorgeous look! I've always been wary of "neutral" palettes as many of them don't seem to be pigmented enough for me (especially the lighter shades). I'm glad Wet N' Wild comes up with such a great and affordable product like this. Now I just wish we had a CVS or Walgreens here. Lol.
